Doctor Appointment # 2

I'm still on a high from my appointment yesterday, June 29th. It was great. Hubby almost missed it. We waited a few minutes so he would see the sonogram. My mom was also with us. They checked my weight, urine and blood pressure and talked with me some. Then we moved on to try the abdominal sonogram and it was heavenly!! We saw our little person in there doing acrobats!! Daddy called when they started and mama was telling him everything that was happening. Very active little booger. We got to hear the heartbeat again which was in the 150's. Little Person was measuring 2 days ahead of schedule which is fine. Makes me feel GREAT! Little Person had his/her hand in front of his/her face the whole time. Probably trying to hide from us. Next appointment is July 27th. I'll be 15 weeks then! Other than that I feel fine. Get yucky every now and then around 10 in the morning. Been throwing up again the last few days and so far *crosses fingers* I'm doing good today! Also, we just started telling people last night! It was fun, called our extended family and friends. It was great! There are still tons who don't know, but after church Sunday, it won't be long!! Oh yeah, also make a note that I haven't gained any weight yet. Thank goodness!!!! So I guess I'll sail into the 2nd trimester still at my starting weight! I know it'll come soon! Time for lunch. Mama has to eat!

just an update

So I've been feeling fine over all. Had a week where I did have the morning sickness pretty bad and was throwing up some. Now I'm fine really. Other than being extremely tired no matter how much I sleep at night. I have to pee constantly and I am hungry a lot!! Nothing really new to report. My next doctor appointment is 2 weeks from Thursday and I can hardly stand it!

That's how today is. Just ok. I go from one extreme to the other. I feel sick if I eat too much or the wrong thing, I feel sick if I don't eat. Starting the 9th week! WOO HOO. Can't wait to say goodbye to the first trimester. I know everyone looks forward to that!

Doctor Appointment last week
It was great. We didn't wait long. I had to give the urine sample when I walked in the door because I had to go so badly. The nurse told me more than once that my urine was 'exceptional', whatever that means. Then we did the weigh in and blood work. She then took us in a room and asked us a million questions. Some that made no sense to me at the present time. Asked about pediatrician we'll use, birth control after the baby and stuff like that. I thought it was a bit early. I kept wondering what if we answer all these questions and go do the ultrasound and nothings there. Anyway, into the exam room we go. Get the routine breast exam and papsmear which for whatever reason was rather painful. On to the ultrasound. We immediately saw our little bambino and the heart flickering away. Doc pointed out arm and leg buds. Then we got to hear the precious heartbeat. Music to our ears!!! We walked away from it all grinning ear to ear!! Our next appointment is on June 29th. Seems like forever away. They ordered another ultrasound per my request so that's excellent! I can't wait!!

Doctor Appointment

Really quickly, only have a few moments. Went great! Saw the bambino and heartbeat. Heard it too!! Got to see the little arm and leg sprouts!! Cool!! Hubby went and told me he almost cried. I'll write more details later. Fixing to go home from work!
