appointment

Had an appointment today. Just over 20 weeks, in my 21st week! How exciting! Everything was perfect, perfect numbers in my urine sample, blood pressure, baby heart beat. My uterus was perfect. I have been throwing up again the past two mornings. Not sure what that is all about. I can't eat as much at one time. Midwife suggested eating like half of what I would normally eat and eat more a few hours later. I do have a slight yeast infection and bacterial vaginosis which acts like a yeast infection. So I have two RX's to get rid of that. My next appointment is in 4 weeks. She said at that appointment we'll set up an appointment with the hospital for a meeting about the epidural. If you don't attend this meeting you can't have an epidural regardless. She said they schedule it to be around your 28 week appointment which is October 24th, hubby wants them both on the same day so he doesn't have to take off again. We'll see. So, I'm happy. Got to hear my baby's heartbeat and how perfect my baby is doing so far!! I get off at 3 tomorrow to get ready to go to my inlaws for the weekend. We are coming back Sunday so we will have all day Monday at home to ourselves!

Just writing..

Nothing much going on in the world of pregnancy. Bambino has taken to moving quite a bit but still not a lot. Sometimes when I want him/her to be bouncing around, he/she won't. I have my '20 week' appointment Thursday at 1:30. I STILL have a yeast infection or something, so they are going to check that out. I was treated at 15-16 weeks and it didn't work. My tummy has gotten to where it feels full after eating on the smallest thing. I guess it's getting cramped in there but it's sooooo early for that I thought. Maybe I'll research it. This baby is wearing me out too!! I am tired all day long and then can NOT go to sleep at night! It's ok though, it will be worth it. This weekend we are going to my in laws for my nephew and MIL's birthdays. Should be interesting. I'll update sometime after the appointment Thursday.

movement

I almost forgot to record movement!! I have felt some soft flutterings and pokes. I remember the first time was Sunday night maybe a week ago, then not again for 2 days and then not again for a few days. Now they are getting closer together. Saturday night I kept getting sporadic pokes in the bladder! Of course it's cute now!! I was reminded to post this by a little tap on the tummy!!

still here

What's been going on with baby? Let's see, last doctor appointment was August 10th. It was a quick visit. I had to use the bathroom when I arrived so I asked if I could go on and do the sample and they let me back, well since I was back there the nurse I know told me to stay and they would go ahead and start. Everything looked well. I had gained 2 pounds, so that puts at plus 3 pounds since getting pregnant which they said was perfect but I thought gaining 2 pounds was a bit much. I hope I haven't gained at my next appointment which is August 31 st. I will be exactly 20 weeks 2 days then I think. I'm sure I will have gotten bigger so I will probably have gained. Everything looked good, urine, blood pressure and weight so we listened to the heart beat and that was perfect too. I set up the ultrasound appoinment so my husband could take off to be there. It will be October 24th and I will also do the gestational diabetes test then as well. I will be 28 weeks then. I don't have too much longer to wait, I'll go to the August 31st, appointment, then one in September and then the next will be the big one!! Mama is going to try to get the shower arranged at church to be the 1st or 2nd weekend in November. This weekend we went out of town and got some really cute baby things from mama. She bought some jeans from Old Navy and lots of sleepers from Carter's and Penney's. We have all the clothes we have so far hanging in the closet. Mama also got a towel and some wash cloths and crib sheets. We are off to a good start!!
